If you check my tumblr you'll see i've been working on this for some time now, its great to be done and i actually rather like how it came out.

i got this idea since i recently started re-watching sailor moon and found madoka magica (best anime i've seen in a while and anime has been good lately) i doodled all the ponies as magical girls in my school notes and liked it so much i wanted to draw a group pic. it was hard but a lot of fun, got to make everything real shiny and colorful

apparently there are people who get pissy if you draw humanized ponies as different races o_o what a strange thing to get mad about. i'm sure some have put a lot of thought as to what race they would be as humans but i just did whatever i thought would look good contrasted against their hair. also i wanted fluttershy to be asian but with the pink hair and big anime eyes thats hard to tell isn't it?

i actually thought out a whole anime version of my little pony that would fit this but i won't post all that here XD might eventually post the version of discord i came up with tho.

Rarity and Twilight needs a skin swa and RD needs a lighter skin or just the same as AJ reason why RD needs lighter skin is cus she move's a lot so she dusnt have a change to tin a lot + her personality is more like a over proud whity than a blacky cus blacky's are nicer when they are proud at least all the sporting blacky's i know and that of rarity is just logic same goes for twilight that of fluttershy aswell same goes for pinkie AJ is good she gets more collor cus she works at a slow speed cus of the heavy wights she must carry and tnks 2 that she is like that

depends on the person whity's and blacky's are one of the lesser racist tings that i had in mind besides that it would have been more racit like if i didnt do the same with white skin people or however i need to call id but yes it might be racist if you tink its racist its the same as when a black person calls a other black person nigger the skin color dusnt change the fact that we are all humans dus it. in other words its racist when you tink its racist it all depends on the person and not the word

I think when you draw humanized ponies, their appearance can be differed by the artist's own personal taste, and perhaps their own environments and people living there. If I would draw humanized ponies, I would use the girls in my school as a guide to recreate the characters.
